LawBlogger began after its founders — a mix of practicing litigators, law librarians, and legal-AI researchers — noticed that the best legal research tools were priced for Am Law 200 firms, while solo practitioners, public interest lawyers, law students, and self-represented individuals were left choosing between search engines and forum threads.
LawBlogger is funded by Practice and Firm subscriptions and by sponsorships from legal-tech companies — not by selling questions, documents, or client data. Core research access for individual attorneys and law students is, and will remain, free.
